The function, which arrived in beta back in October, is rolling to Android users through the WhatsApp stable version 2.18.380. It essentially lets you enjoy Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube videos in a little window and continue to scroll through WhatsApp chats concurrently. While the brand-new update has now brought a devoted PiP function for all Android users, WhatsApp for iPhone has been using a similar experience because January this year.

To use the Picture-in-Picture function on the latest WhatsApp for Android, you can now enjoy Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube videos in a little window and continue to navigate around WhatsApp in different chats concurrently. The function works in specific chats in addition to group chats.

You do not require to allow an alternative on the latest WhatsApp for Android to experience the Picture-in-Picture function. It works just with a link of any Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube videos.
