Snapchat Rolled Out New Redesign for Its iOS Users

After drawing criticism from users worldwide about its controversial redesign, audio-video sharing platform Snapchat is rolling out another app redesign, beginning with the “majority” of iOS users.

In the brand-new style, snaps and talks are aligned chronologically and Stories from friends have actually been returned to the right-hand side of the electronic camera screen.

Snapchat has actually added a separate Subscriptions include to keep Stories from popular developers and publishers in the loop while letting the other Stories be separated.

“We are currently rolling out an update to address this by sorting interaction by recency and moving ‘Stories’ from buddies to the right side of the application, while keeping the structural changes we have actually made around separating good friends from creators and sorting friends’ ‘Stories’ by relationships,” Evan Spiegel, CEO, Snapchat had actually stated earlier this month, in the company’s first-quarter revenues call.

Snapchat was testing a brand-new style in April that would move the user’s friends’ Stories together with the celeb material in the “Discover” area again to ensure that the user’s feed would not be dominated by the celeb content.

There is no word yet on when the upgrade would be available on Android.
