Last month, throughout the announcement of Snap Games video gaming platform, Snapchat announced Zynga’s Tiny Royale fight royale video game that had been made specifically for its users. Now, the game is offered to play, and it is essentially is picking up on the battle royal trend that has been around given that the beginning of PUBG and Fortnite. It lets you battle with buddies, gather brand-new weapons along the method, and unlock characters and health packs while the map shrinks during the match up until just one player, or group, remains. The last person or group standing wins the video game.

The Zynga-developed multi-player game is now available on Snapchat’s in-app video gaming platform Snap Games. Players need to shoot their challengers, collect the loot, and emerge victorious. They can pick to form squads or fight alone for fast two-minute rounds. The game can have up to 30 players fighting at the same time, in teams of four. It is rather comparable in regards to gameplay as other fight royale video games, though with a more top-down view. Like other such games, the map diminishes in size, up until only one player, or one team stays. Players can picked from custom-made characters that fit their character best to play the game.

As discussed, Snapchat announced Snap Games in April. This platform exists inside the Snapchat app itself, and it lists a host of initial and third-party games, aiming to keep existing users engaged longer and draw in new ones.

The games consist of Snap’s flagship Bitmoji Party, Spry Fox’s Alphabear Hustle, ZeptoLab’s C.A.T.S. Drift Race, Game Closure’s Snake Squad, and PikPok’s Zombie Rescue Squad. They can be played from Snapchat’s main “Chat” messaging function. The video gaming platform will have non-skippable, six-second video advertisements, a relatively brand-new format that boosted fourth-quarter income.
